The Parish Council is dedicated to supporting Canon Stephen and enriching our community across faith, youth, and parish engagement.

Supporting programmes and opportunities designed to engage our youth and integrate them fully into the life of the Church.

The council meets four times a year. Sub-groups meet when necessary.

RCIA

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a journey for adults seeking to join the Catholic Church. Through prayer, study, and community, participants explore Christ’s teachings and prepare for the sacraments of initiation. All adults are welcome. At St Joseph’s Parish, infant baptisms are held Sundays at 1pm by arrangement. Contact the parish office to schedule a baptism and learn about our preparation programme.

Visit to the Sick in Hospital or at Home

When illness strikes, the Church offers comfort and strength through visits from priests with sacraments, prayers, and support. In hospital, inform staff you are Catholic for pastoral care. At home, contact the parish office to request a visit.

Order of Christian Funerals

The death of a loved one is deeply painful, and the Church offers support through the Order of Christian Funerals, honouring Christ’s death and resurrection. At St Joseph’s Parish, our priests guide families with care. Contact the parish office to arrange a funeral and receive support.
