Parents in Prayer
Serving at the altar is one of the most meaningful ways young people can participate in the life of our parish. There’s a quiet dignity in lighting the candles, carrying the cross, or assisting the priest during Mass—moments that help deepen faith and build confidence in equal measure.
About
Parents in Prayer brings together mothers and fathers who commit to praying regularly for their children, their schools, and their teachers. We meet to share our concerns in confidence, lift each other’s children up in prayer, and support one another through the joys and challenges of raising young people in today’s world. There’s something powerful about praying with others who understand exactly what you’re going through—the collective faith of a group can sustain you when your own feels weak.
If you’re a parent or grandparent who wants to pray for the young people in your life but finds it hard to do alone, or if you simply want the support of other parents who share your values and concerns, this group is for you. All denominations and backgrounds are welcome—what unites us is our love for our children and our belief in the power of prayer.
