Chums of Saint Joseph
Serving at the altar is one of the most meaningful ways young people can participate in the life of our parish. There’s a quiet dignity in lighting the candles, carrying the cross, or assisting the priest during Mass—moments that help deepen faith and build confidence in equal measure.
About
Chums is our Facebook community where parishioners share everything from upcoming parish walks and local events to recommendations for tradespeople and tips on what’s happening in our area. It’s where friendships are formed, walking groups are organized, and you’ll find out which café does the best scone. From Carmunnock all the way to Giffnock, our parish covers quite a bit of ground, and Chums helps make that distance feel smaller.
If you’re part of St Joseph’s parish and would like to connect with others in your neighbourhood, share local knowledge, or simply stay more involved in parish life beyond Sunday Mass, then yes—this group is for you.
