Bridge Club

Home / Parish Club / Bridge Club

Serving at the altar is one of the most meaningful ways young people can participate in the life of our parish. There’s a quiet dignity in lighting the candles, carrying the cross, or assisting the priest during Mass—moments that help deepen faith and build confidence in equal measure.

About

We gather regularly for games that range from casual practice sessions to more focused play, depending on who’s around the table. Whether you’re brushing up on your bidding conventions or learning the basics, you’ll find patient partners and plenty of good conversation between hands. It’s as much about the company and the cup of tea afterwards as it is about the cards themselves.

Bridge players of all levels are welcome. If you’re completely new to the game, don’t worry—we’re happy to teach you the fundamentals. If you already know your way around a deck, you’ll find worthy partners and enjoyable games. The only requirement is a willingness to learn and a sense of humour when the cards don’t fall your way.
