Our Parish Journey

In response to Pope Francis’ universal call, our parish community engaged deeply with the synodal process. Through prayerful listening and open dialogue, we explored what it means to live as a synodal Church right here in Clarkston.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a journey for adults seeking to join the Catholic Church. Through prayer, study, and community, participants explore Christ’s teachings and prepare for the sacraments of initiation. All adults are welcome. At St Joseph’s Parish, infant baptisms are held Sundays at 1pm by arrangement. Contact the parish office to schedule a baptism and learn about our preparation programme.

When illness strikes, the Church offers comfort and strength through visits from priests with sacraments, prayers, and support. In hospital, inform staff you are Catholic for pastoral care. At home, contact the parish office to request a visit.
