Sacramental Journey
Preparation for the Sacraments is a vital, family-centred journey facilitated by the parish and school communities.
Baptism
- Welcoming the newest members into the Body of Christ.
- Takes place on Sundays at 1:00 PM.
- Please download and complete a Baptismal Request Form.
First Communion
- Receiving the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time.
- Preparation is coordinated through the Parish Schools.
- Parent meetings are scheduled periodically—check the bulletin.
Confirmation
- Sealing the gift of the Holy Spirit and adult commitment to the faith.
- Preparation is coordinated through the Parish Schools.
- Usually takes place during Primary 7.
- Involves youth retreats and dedicated sessions.
Groups and Ministries
Children’s Liturgy
- A place for younger children to hear and reflect on the Gospel message at their level during Mass.
- Held during the Sunday 10:30am Mass.
- No sign-up required—just attend!
Sentry Youth Group
- Faith, fun, and fellowship for older children and teens.
- Meets Saturday mornings (School term time).
- Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Location: St Joseph’s Church Hall.
Youth Awards
- Encouraging service and faith lived out in the community.
- Pope Francis Faith Award (Primary).
- Caritas Award (Secondary)
